This Privacy Policy explains how Dicey Poker ("Dicey Poker", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use the Dicey Poker mobile application and related services (the "Service").

Information you provide
- Account information, such as your email address, nickname, selected country and country flag.
- Messages you send in in-game chat.
- Reports, blocks, rule suggestions, support requests and other messages you send to us.
- Profile changes, such as nickname and country updates.
Information created when you use the Service
- Game data, including open games, active games, finished games, scores, selected game mode, selected rounds and winners.
- Leaderboard data, including nickname, country and score when your result qualifies for a leaderboard.
- Bot-game score data used to update leaderboards.
- Elo rating and game statistics.
- Blocked-user records and message reports used for safety and moderation.
- Push notification tokens, if you allow notifications.
- Subscription status and limited purchase-related records needed to provide premium features.
Information collected automatically or by third-party services
- Device and technical information needed to run the app, send notifications, prevent abuse and diagnose problems.
- Advertising identifiers and ad interaction data, where ads are available and allowed by your device settings and applicable consent choices.
- Approximate technical information such as IP address may be processed by our hosting, database, authentication, notification and advertising providers.
We do not ask you to provide special categories of personal data, such as health information, political opinions, religious beliefs, biometric data, or similar sensitive information. Please do not include such information in your nickname, chat messages, reports or support emails.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Create, verify and manage your account.
- Provide multiplayer games, bot games, chats, leaderboards, ratings and subscriptions.
- Send email verification and password reset emails.
- Send optional push notifications about game turns and game activity.
- Process reports, blocks and safety-related moderation actions.
- Maintain, secure, debug and improve the Service.
- Show ads to non-premium users and manage ad frequency.
- Respond to support requests, rule suggestions and privacy requests.
- Comply with applicable laws and enforce our terms and policies.
3. Legal Bases
Where applicable privacy laws require a legal basis, we process personal data based on one or more of the following: performance of a contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, compliance with legal obligations, and protection of users and the Service from abuse or fraud.
4. Sharing Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share or make information available in the following situations:
- Other players: your nickname, country flag, public game activity, leaderboard entries and chat messages may be visible to other players.
- Service providers: we use providers for authentication, database hosting, cloud functions, notifications, email delivery, ads and purchases.
- App stores and payment platforms: subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers.
- Safety and legal reasons: we may disclose information when required by law or when needed to protect users, the Service or our rights.
5. Third-Party Providers
The Service may use the following third-party providers:
- Google Firebase, including Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging and Hosting.
- Google AdMob for advertising.
- Apple App Store and StoreKit for iOS purchases and subscriptions.
- Google Play Billing for Android purchases and subscriptions.
- Email delivery and infrastructure providers used to send verification, password reset and service emails.
These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of Google, Apple and any relevant app store or advertising provider.
6. Advertising and Your Choices
Dicey Poker may show ads to non-premium users. Ads may be contextual or, where permitted by your device settings and consent choices, personalized. You can limit personalized ads through your device settings.
- On iOS, use Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking and the Apple advertising privacy settings.
- On Android, use Settings > Privacy > Ads or Google > Ads, depending on your device.
Opting out of personalized advertising does not necessarily remove all ads; it generally means ads will be less tailored to your interests.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our policies.
- Account profile data is kept while your account exists.
- Open and active game data is kept while needed for gameplay and cleanup.
- Finished game history may be kept temporarily for statistics, leaderboards, debugging and service integrity.
- Leaderboard entries may remain until replaced by better scores or removed as part of account deletion or cleanup.
- Chat messages may remain as part of game records and moderation history unless deleted through account deletion or service cleanup.
- Reports and block records may be retained as needed for user safety and abuse prevention.
You can delete your account from the profile screen in the app. Account deletion removes or anonymizes your account-related data where technically and legally possible. Some records may be retained when necessary for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution or to preserve game integrity for other users.

8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls, Firebase security rules and server-side functions for sensitive account and moderation operations. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Transfers
Our Service and service providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as contractual protections and service-provider compliance programs.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at pokerdicey@gmail.com and we will take reasonable steps to delete the information.
11. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing of your personal data, and to request a portable copy of certain data. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
